my name is Yasmine & I specialize in END OF LIFE care & written legacy projects.

My goal as a death doula (sometimes called an “end-of-life doula”) is to help people live as well as possible during life’s final transition. I provide practical planning, advocacy, and a grounding presence for an individual or family that needs support.

From a young age I’ve been a curious observer of human behavior and lover of personal (his)stories. As a creative writer, this influenced a deep interest in character development. As I embarked on a career as a death doula, two passions merged, and legacy writing was born. I specialize in ghostwriting living tributes (that double as eulogies) from the first-person perspective.

While the role of a death doula may seem new to some, the sacred practice of honoring and ushering someone through their final earthly transition is an ancient one. I hope to help demystify the dying process and be a source of guidance through that journey.

I hold a bachelors in English from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and support the local SA community by caring for the dying at a non-profit end of life care home known for its contemplative practices.
